DESCRIPTION: LX-2600,105 Resin is a low molecular weight, inert thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin formulated to a high aromatic content for improved SBR tackification. This resin is recommended for use in SBR latex and solvent based mastic adhesives. Due to its good solubility or compatibility with alkyd and drying oils, it may be used in coatings to increase film hardness, chemical resistance and gloss. In the printing ink area, LX-2600, 105 Resin can be used as a more economical alternative to the conventional C-9 hydrocarbon resin. It can be utilized as a co-resin in various let-down and grinding vehicles, or as the sole resin in flushing vehicles or soybean oil-based news ink vehicles.
