International Elastomer Conference - 2018

The International Elastomer Conference is the premier place where educators, customers, manufacturers and suppliers of materials, equipment, tools and services come together. This year's event takes place on October 9-11, 2018 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, KY.  This event provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, observations, regulatory reforms and emerging scientific technologies, as well as learning, networking, seeing current customers and making new ones.

NEVILLE CHEMICAL's Brian Domalik will be in attendance.

Summer Intern

This summer, we were pleased to have Patrick (Jake) Flaherty join our Plant Engineering department.  Jake is a senior Chemical Engineering major at the University of Pittsburgh.

During his three months with us, he was given insight to how a hydrocarbon resin manufacturing facility is run. We trust that this knowledge will help him in his future career.

Best of luck, Jake!

On June 16th, 19 volunteers participated in the annual Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Committee (ORSANCO) River Sweep collecting refuse and debris from Neville's river bank. The volunteers collected 22 bags of trash in addition to plastic drums, tires, refrigerator doors, dock floats, river buoys and an air compressor.

The Ohio River Sweep extends the entire length of the Ohio River from Pittsburgh, PA to Cairo, IL with volunteers from the six states picking up trash, litter and debris in just one day.

We thank not only our employees and their families but everyone who participated in helping keep our rivers and their tributaries clean and safe for residents including the Osprey nest at our river dock.

Neville is proud to once again be a sponsor and participant in the Ohio River Sweep on Saturday, June 16, 2018.  This event, organized by the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission, is an interstate water pollution agency for the Ohio River Valley, along with environmental protection and natural resource agencies from Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

Started in 1989, this award-winning cleanup for the Ohio River and its tributaries brings thousands of volunteers to the riverbanks to remove tons of trash and debris. River Sweep encompasses the entire length of the river, from its origin in Pittsburgh, PA to its end in Cairo, IL, including nearly 3,000 miles of shoreline and many tributaries.
