Ohio River Sweep 2022

The Ohio River Sweep is an annual event at Neville Chemical. Each year a number of employees wake up early on Saturday morning to remove debris from the banks of our property on the Ohio River. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, 2021 saw 150 mini-sweeps hosted in five states.  Even with required small events and limited participants, over 50,000 lbs. (estimated weight) of litter were collected.

This year, mini-sweeps were again held and participation so far is exceeding anyone’s expectations.  Neville Chemical’s Mini-Sweep event was held July 16th. Our volunteers collected 20 bags of trash, 3 barrels, tires and other interesting items that were collected for disposal.
