Neville’s formulas are designed to last, and Nevex® 1069 is a perfect example. Neville has a long-standing commitment to quality and innovation. Manufactured since the 1950s, this C9 aromatic hydrocarbon resin was originally introduced as Nevex 100. Developed to improve peel strength, reduce molten viscosity, and retain gloss in hot melt adhesive systems.
Over the past 75 years, our end users and Research & development team have found value in applications well beyond the original use as a tackifier. Now known as Nevex® 1069, it commonly serves as a raw material in coatings, rubber compounding, and construction adhesives and sealants, in addition to its hot melt adhesive origins.
Among the original features it is also used as a processing aid in rubber compounding, pigment binder and dispersing aid in metallic aerosol paints.
Low molecular weight, narrow polydispersity, and high aromaticity, make this resin exceptionally compatible with a wide range of formulations. Although the name has changed, the product is still made with the same commitment to quality and innovation that Neville has maintained for decades.
