New Product Launch: Bio-Hybrid Epoxy Modifiers NEVOXY® ECO-L2 and NEVOXY® ECO-LH

Neville Chemical Company is excited to introduce two innovative additions to our product portfolio: NEVOXY® ECO-L2 and NEVOXY® ECO-LH. These new bio-hybrid epoxy modifiers expand our existing line of NEVOXY® EPX products, incorporating bio-hybrid technology to enhance your epoxy formulations. As with our other NEVOXY® EPX resins, these products are low-color, high-solids modifiers designed to improve the performance of epoxy systems.

Product Overview

NEVOXY® ECO-L2 and NEVOXY® ECO-LH offer unique benefits, including lower viscosity, extended pot life and improved film performance, with variations in their impact on drying time, flexibility, adhesion, and chemical resistance. Both products are easy to incorporate into your formulations, even at low loadings (as low as 5%).

Key Features:

NEVOXY® ECO-L2 is a non-reactive diluent that extends the pot life of epoxy resins without affecting the dry time. This low-viscosity plasticizer enhances handling, flexibility, impact resistance, and chemical resistance at just 5% loading.
NEVOXY® ECO-LH also extends the pot life but accelerates the dry time. It improves adhesion and maintains film performance at low loadings (5%), while enhancing flexibility, impact resistance, and chemical resistance at higher loadings (up to 20%).

Performance Enhancements

Both NEVOXY® ECO-L2 and NEVOXY® ECO-LH significantly improve various mechanical properties in epoxy coatings. See the table below for a comparison of their performance versus a neat 2K epoxy system without diluents. Film performance was tested on 3mil films after 7 day cure on cold rolled steel substrate, at 5 or 20% modifier dosage in the neat epoxy system.
